By Foot: Drive to Kinlochourn (or be dropped off) and walk in to Barrisdale. Camp here for the night or stay in the Bothy. Head over the Barrisdale path and down to Loch Dubhlochain then on to Inverie.
Alternatively you can walk in through Glen Dessary heading to Sourlies Bothy at the head of Loch Nevis. Stay here then walk in through Glen Meadall and down to Inverie.
Another option is to drive to Bracara near Morar and walk up the side of Loch Morar then over to Tarbet Bay. You can hire a boat from Knoydart to meet you at Tarbet and bring you down to Inverie.
Drive: You will either want to drive to Mallaig or Armadale on Skye depending on your plans. If you fancy a drive through Skye first taking a few days out then drive to Kyle of Lochalsh and over the bridge to Skye, from there you want to head down to Armadale. you can book the Seafari boat to transport you straight from Armadale to Inverie.

If you are driving to Mallaig take the A82 to Fort William then the A830 to Mallaig. It will take you roughly 2 1/2 hours from Glasgow to Fort William or 1 3/4 hours from Inverness to Fort William. From Fort William to Mallaig allow 1 hour.
Train: Scotrail from Queen Street Glasgow to Mallaig - West Highland Line.
London Euston to Fort William sleeper then Scotrail Fort William to Mallaig arriving at either 1:30pm (winter) or 2:09pm (summer)
