The Spring has arrived & our best wishes go out to you all who visit our site.
We’ve had snow-falls interspersed with stunning beautiful frosty-mornings, followed by the usual storm, lightening strike & force 10 gales. I think you could say that Knoydart is back to normal once again.
The local power supply was hit by the lightening and put us in darkness for a number of hours but it’s only a small price to pay for staying in “paradise”.
The frost burst pipes in our Barn & brought a ceiling down. All this was repaired before the New Year onslaught arrived.
The gales brought down the huge Elm tree beside Kilchoan Farmhouse, along with an Ash, which stood in front of it. A limb from the Elm pierced the roof of the new annex at Kilchoan Farmhouse, so you could say that it’s been an interesting start to the new season.

Thanks goes to Chic and Willie (Gargoyle) for repairing the roof so quickly.
